Wetlands Way - The Bann Montaighs Trails (x3)

The land to the east of the River Bann is known as the Bann Montiaghs, the latter being the Gaelic word for Bogland. It comprises numerous quiet country roads which will take the traveller in to the rural heart of this region giving the opportunity for contemplation and enjoyment.

Route Description

The starting points to the walk are Oxford Island, Lough Neagh Discovery Centre, Emersons Harbour and Bannfoot.

To complete the 3 walks follow the map published in the 'Walking & Cycling in Craigavon' leaflet - this shows green (8km/ 5 miles), red (10.4km/ 6.5 miles) and purple (20.9km/ 13miles)routes.
