Highway to Health, Donaghadee 2

The walks take place in Donaghadee, a town which has been described as one of the best kept secrets of the Ulster coastline, only 21 miles from Scotland and once the premier ferry port between Ireland and Scotland.

This urban walk is part of the Highway to Health Scheme - a simple and innovative scheme which aims to encourage people of all ages to walk for leisure and good health. It uses pole signs at one kilometre intervals on an established route.

Millisle Beach is a nearby attraction.
