Archery Course on target with Community Organisatons


A highly demanded Archery Award Leader’s course kicked of a mammoth 4 day training programme, Tuesday 5th November at Kilmore Archery Centre, Lurgan. This fully booked course allowed Community Leaders and Volunteers the opportunity to deliver success archery sessions and individual coaching opportunities with their Community Group.

Claire Overend, Development Officer at Outdoor Recreation NI was thrilled by the success of the event commenting “This was a fantastic event. We were delighted with how well the course was received and overwhelmed with the interest people had in attending. The facilitators at Kilmore Archery Centre were superb and everyone who attended came away with a real knowledge of Archery as well as gaining the confidence to carry out Archery sessions with their community groups and organisations.”

Mark Vinnicombe from Be Safe Be Well stated “I feel very confident after training. I will be instructing teenagers, older people and adults with special needs. It was a great course that I would recommend to anyone!”
